The Darbhanga Planetarium also known as “Darbhanga Taramandal” is the second planetarium/science museum in Bihar. It was constructed at the Kadirabad Polytechnic Ground in Darbhanga, Bihar state of India.
The planetarium was built in the first phase with a budget of ₹92.8 crore over an area of 21,000 square metres. A total budget of ₹164 crore was announced for the construction work in 2018. The first phase was completed in December 2022.

Darbhanga Taramandal Show Timing
There is Four shows in a day, all shows are shown in 3D. Ticket booking will be online on the Official site:
- 1st Show: The 3D show will be shown from 11:15 am to 12:00 am, for which the entry time of the audience has been fixed at 11:00 am.
- 2nd Show: The 3D show will be shown from 12:30 pm to 01:15 pm, for which the entry time of the audience is scheduled at 12:15 pm.
- 3rd Show: The 3D show will be shown from 02:30 pm to 03:15 pm, with audience entry time scheduled at 02:15 pm.
- 4th Show: The 3D show will be shown from 03:45 PM to 04:30 PM, for which the entry time of the audience is scheduled at 03:30 PM.

- The design was prepared by the American architectural firm Chelsea West Architects.
- There are 150 seats in the planetarium and 300 seats in the auditorium.
- An orientation hall with 50 seats has been built.
- There are three shapes of planetarium: elliptical, spherical and dome-shaped. The size of the dome is 14 meters.
- Content should be 3D.
Note: Planetarium Contains a solar parking way, cafeteria, lobby, science gallery, service building and lotus pond.
